Want to fly a model Plane - Glider - Helicopter - Multicopter or Drone?

Eastpoint Aeromodellers Club is one of only two places in Darwin where these types of model Aircraft

 are legally allowed to be operated up to an height of 400 feet (121.92 metres) within the club boundaries.

East Point Aero Modellers Club was formed over 40 years ago. With 20 acres of well maintained grounds, two large shaded pit areas, B.B.Q. facilities, public area and toilets. All disciplines of Radio Control Aero modelling is conducted whether it be Fixed Wing (Planes), Rotary Wing (Helicopters) and the fairly new addition of  the Multi Rotor class (Quad - Copters, Tri - Copters - Drones etc.) 

With our club days being Wednesdays and Sundays, members of the public are welcome, as are new members. We hold regular open days throughout the year with amazing aerobatic displays and 3D helicopter skills. 

Aero modelling is a great outdoor activity, we have members as young as 10 years, our oldest member, John Manning, is now 83, and is one of the Clubs founding members. 

Mentoring by experienced Club members  in both fixed wing and helicopter flying is available to assist new pilots get off the ground. 

If you would like to find out more, come check us out in the Afternoon around 1600 on Wednesday's  or any Saturday or Sunday and catch the action.
